Music is a powerful tool in youth and young adult ministry, fostering community, deepening prayer, and bridging generational gaps. This talk explores the biblical roots of worship and offers practical strategies for choosing songs, mentoring young leaders, and creating meaningful worship experiences. You'll gain insights on using music to inspire faith, engage participation, and navigate common ministry challenges.

Happy Birthday! Celebrating a 2025 Jubilee (Rev. A. Brown)

If there's anything Catholics have lots of experience with, it's celebrating. Join Father Avram in exploring the biblical legacy of the Jubilee Year, and its transformative meaning for rediscovering the dynamism of our faith and life today. It turns out that the jubilee is at the heart of Jesus' whole plan, and we can start enjoying his gifts today.

Job's Not Finished (R. David)

The call to Evangelize is crucial in making Christ visible in our world. Through sharing of personal experiences, this workshop explores the many different ways we are called to serve from mission trips to using hobbies and interests to help others. This workshop hopes to inspire youth ministry leaders to inspire their youth to spread the Good News.

The Art of Fundraising (G. Grape)

The workshop will provide an overview of fundraising and stewardship, highlighting practical applications and ways to cultivate a culture of generosity. Additionally, it will cover essential elements of The Catholic Foundation's operations and opportunities to maximize support and engagement.

C-06:
Awesome Glory: Exploring the Paschal Triduum (Dr. M. Jaldon)

The presenter will use Abbot Jeremy's book, Awesome Glory, and accompany the audience through the liturgical rituals surrounding the Paschal Triduum. At the conclusion of the presentation, the audience will have a greater understanding of the rites which will help them in their own journey as disciples.

The Value and Purpose of Physical Intimacy through a Catholic Psychological Lens (B. Kelso)

This workshop starts with a brief discussion about the meaning and purpose of physical intimacy. Then we discuss specific steps on how to re-order our often disordered foundations of physical intimacy, and grow in Non-sexual intimacy as a path to deeper and more fulfilling marital relationships.

I Can Do All Things, Not Everything! Blending Family and Ministry (M. Kennedy)

Balancing family life with our liturgical ministry often feels like balancing on a high wire, taking time and effort so we don't fall off. Maybe blending is a better way of thinking about these two loves of our life. Family and ministry operate on the same principle of love and service and Christ is alive in both. And both help shape the spiritual atmosphere of our community. This presentation will look at small practical things we can do to blend these two important aspects of our lives so that we can indeed do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

According to recent statistics, nearly 2/3 of adults experience frequent anxiety over current national and global events, the economy, gun violence and numerous other stressors that are part of living in 2025. As parents, teachers, catechists and ministers of the faith, how can we act as Pilgrims of Hope for those with whom we live and work? This talk includes practical helps for the home, office and classroom.

By embracing ministry in the great outdoors, Catholic parishes can enrich the spiritual lives of their members, strengthen community bonds, promote environmental stewardship, and contribute to the common good. With that in mind, join us to learn how to inspire parishioners to participate in different outdoor activities. while teaching others to find God in the great outdoors.

Hope for the Dying: How Deacons and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Give the Last Rites (G. McAvoy-Jensen)

Some erroneously think that "last rites" is anointing of the sick. In fact the Church's final sharing of communion, as "viaticum", is the last rite Catholics are to receive. Priests of course are ministers of viaticum, but so are deacons, and when neither are available, so are extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion. In this workshop you'll learn about the rite, and other prayers around the time of death.

Evangelizing and Catechizing Families with Unbaptized Children of Catechetical Age Using the OCIA Model (L. Smith)

This workshop describes how to use the Catechumenal Model (OCIA) to evangelize and catechize unbaptized children of catechetical age and their parents to form families of disciples.

Rica y Ocia: Diferencias y Actualizaciones Edición OCIA: 2024 (A. Arroyo Jr.)
Hablar de la preparación de Adultos que desean abrazar el catolicismo, siempre ha sido un camino que está lleno de cambios y actualizaciones, retos para el facilitador. Por ende, muchas preguntas brotan sobre la formación cristiana para adultos, desde cosas como el cambio en cuanto al nombre se refiere, hasta las actualizaciones y adaptaciones en la nueva publicación del 2024 sobre la iniciacion cristiana para adultos. Les invito a caminar juntos, descubramos y veamos estos cambios y actualizaciones.

La importancia de una espiritualidad eucaristica para el crecimiento de las parroquias y comunidades eclesiales.


C-15:
Jesús: El cristocentrismo de la catequesis (G. Cantero)
La Iglesia nos llama a enseñar de manera Cristocéntrica. Este taller hablara sobre la importancia de referir todos los remas a Cristo, presentar a Cristo mismo y recalcar la centralidad de los evangelios en la catequesis.

El duelo y sus etapas (P. Davila)
Saber conectar con el dolor propio o ajeno es un deber Cristiano. Y saber respetar el dolor propio o ajeno, ¡también! En este taller aprenderas sobre los diferentes tipos de perdida. Las etapas para transitar el proceso y como reconocerlas. Aprender a empatizar con el dolor es el objetivo de este taller.


C-17:
Liturgia de las Horas (R. De la Garma)
La Liturgia de las Horas aún cuando no es obligatoria para los laicos, es la forma más efectiva para robustecer la fe de los seglares que se desempeñan como ministros en su parroquia.
El Oficio Divino es particularmente beneficioso para equilibrar el tiempo de diálogo con el Señor, y simultáneamente, el desarrollo teológico gradual mediante la exposición constante a la riqueza bíblica del Breviario.

Capacitación Pedagógica del Catequista (T. De Donan)
La formación pedagógica consiste en la adquisición de unas actitudes educativas y de unas técnicas metodológicas.
La actitud pedagógica esencial del catequista consiste en adaptarse al catequizando, y acomodándose a su psicología y situación: «Me hago todo a todos para ganarlos a todos» (1 Cor 9,22). Aprenderemos a dominar los elementos del acto catequético y a integrarlos unos en otros: la experiencia humana, la Palabra, la expresión de la fe: confesión de fe, celebración, y compromiso.

¿Eres un catequista nuevo? Lo basico que debes saber (M. López)
En este taller, se dará lo básico para ser un catequista. Desde la importancia y la manera de poner a Cristo en el centro de todo en el salón, hasta la importancia de la belleza y como ella nos guía a un encuentro con Jesús, en algo tan simple con una mesa de oración.

Construyendo puentes: Jóvenes en la Época de Tecnología Avanzada y IA en la Iglesia Católica (E. Medina)
En esta sesión ahondaremos en la complicada relación entre la juventud moderna y el rápido avance de la tecnología. Exploraremos diferentes maneras de fomentar conexiones significativas y entendimiento ético en esta realidad digital.
Revisaremos documentos del Vaticano, presentaremos una guía dirigida a facilitar el dialogo y conexión con la juventud. Además, tendremos la oportunidad de ver un ejemplo vivo de tecnología IA en acción.

Evangelizando y Catequizando Familias con Niños No Bautizados en Edad Catequética Utilizando el Modelo OICA (A. Valencia)
Este taller describe cómo utilizar el Modelo Catecumenal (OICA) para evangelizar y catequizar a niños no bautizados en edad catequética y a sus padres para formar familias de discípulos.
