Music in the liturgy has the role of helping to giving glory to God and the sanctification of the faithful. Music is considered a "necessary or integral part" of the solemn liturgy, serving not as a backdrop but as a means to "add delight to prayer" and foster a deeper "unity of minds". Furthermore, sacred music is intended to facilitate the full, conscious, and active participation of the entire assembly, lifting their hearts and minds toward the divine mystery being celebrated. Show Up... And They Will Come! (S. Do)
We've all heard that saying, "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." The same is true for the young people we serve in our parish and school communities. Our effectiveness in youth and young adult ministry depends on our willingness to show up in their lives and accompany them along their journey of faith. This workshop will dive into the new pastoral framework for youth and young adults - Listen, Teach, Send - a threefold approach to accompaniment with young people and explore its applications to current realities. At the end of the day, programs don't change hearts, relationships do.

The Bible begins with a creation story. Why not use creation in our faith formation? Crafts can be tools for spiritual formation. I have seen some amazing creations in our diocese. I gathered some of the best creations and will share them with you.

Home-Based Discipleship: Forming Families that Follow Jesus Together (J. Nufable)
For many families, faith formation has become outsourced to programs or resources rather than integrated into the culture of the home. This workshop proposes a series of ""Home-Based Discipleship"" practices that re-centers the family as the primary place where discipleship is modeled, practiced, and lived out. Join us for spiritual inspiration, an honest conversation, and some practical ideas that help families and their parishes.

How to run a thriving Men's Ministry (G. Penner)
How we can bolster our Men's ministries? Drawing upon examples from scripture and the saints of what true masculinity looks like to as a groundwork of who Catholic men should follow in this workshop we will discover how Men's Ministries can be more than just fellowship, but places where Men are pushed to become more Christ-like. This will end with suggestions and ideas of what this can look like at the parish level.

From Volunteers to Leaders: Building a Sustainable Culture of Ministry Leadership (J. Rinaldo)
All parishes rely on volunteers. Let's turn them into leaders! This workshop provides practical tools to help parish leaders recruit with purpose, form volunteer leaders for shared responsibility, and sustain their commitment over the long term. C-09:
Loving Others Because He Loved Us First (M. Sammartino)
In his encyclical, Dilexi Nos, Pope Francis guides us to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as our starting point to begin to love others grounded in Christ's mercy and compassion. From here, we can begin to rediscover that we are loved personally and deeply by Christ and because of this truth, we cannot be indifferent to the suffering of others. In this workshop, we will explore the dimensions of Christ's love for us, the need to deepen our spiritual lives to be able to address indifference and social transformation, and practical applications in light of Catholic social teaching.

How to "SELL THE VALUE" of our Catholic Faith to our Youth and Children (S. Tran)
Deacon Stephen with over 20+ years of corporate business experience will provide a proven sales technique he's developed and used in business and leadership sales trainings for multi-billion dollar Top Fortune 50 companies like Comcast, AT&T, & Amazon, and apply such proven efficient techniques which you can practically use to influence our youth to see the VALUE of the Catholic Faith in their lives. This will be a two-part workshop across two hours showing techniques of Preparation, Engagement, Discovery, Positioning to Win, Closing the Deal, and Starting a relationship with Jesus Christ and his Church.

We Come to do His Will (L. Williams Douglas, and V. Ramos)
We will share how our Vision/Mission aligns with our Ministry's namesake, Sister Thea. Like her, we bring our entire selves to not only the Mass, but in our community outreach endeavors. We will introduce the seven Black Catholics on the road to Sainthood and where each stands in the process. Time permitting, we'll explain the steps/process to Sainthood.​

LIMITES, identificar los limites en el autocuidado (L. Albarran)
Los límites no son muros para alejarnos de los demás; son líneas que definen dónde termina mi responsabilidad y dónde comienza la del otro. En este taller aprenderemos a identificar como comunicar los limites. Muchas personas tienen límites en su mente, pero nunca los comunican. Esperan que los otros adivinen lo que sienten o lo que necesitan. Cuando eso no ocurre, aparece la frustración. El problema es que los límites que no se comunican no existen para los demás.

Prácticas Eficaces en Catequesis Adaptativa: Niños y Jóvenes con disCapacidad​ (A. Barraza)
Comenzando con una oración adaptativa de acompañamiento, nos adentraremos en lo que la Iglesia nos reta a tomar como oportunidad de crecimiento en la catequesis con niños y jóvenes con disCapacidad. Narrativas personales sobre diferentes testimonios durante la preparación de Primera Comunión y Confirmación con sus respectivas prácticas eficaces serán provechosas herramientas que podrás implementar en seguida en tu propio programa, salón y hogar. ¿Hay alguna manera de asegurar que los hijos asuman unos valores realmente valiosos? O dicho de otra manera, ¿puedo enseñar a mis hijos a apreciar los mismos valores que a mí me parecen importantes? ¡La respuesta es que sí! Amor Transformado: Duelo, Pérdida, y Apego.​ (M. Franco)
En este taller, abordaremos y reflexionaremos sobre la interacción entre el proceso del duelo y los cuatro estilos del apego. ¿Qué sucede con el apego formado cuando perdemos a un ser amado? ¿Cómo se transforma este amor? La transformación del apego propicia nuevos brotes de fe, esperanza, y amor.
 
C-24:
Espiritual Pero No Religioso: Porqué los jóvenes dejan la Iglesia y qué podemos hacer sobre esto  (A. Gonzalez)
Después de recibir sus Sacramentos, los jóvenes se desconectan de su Fe. Generalmente siguen rezando y creyendo en Dios, pero dejan de sentir la necesidad de pertenecer a una religión organizada. Usando ciencia social y temas de neurobiología, este taller explorará las diferencias entre religión y espiritualidad y ofrecerá ideas de cómo podemos ayudar e inspirar mejor a los jóvenes a ser participantes conscientes y activos en nuestras parroquias.

Cultivando Vocaciones a través de la Formación de Fe​ (M. Hurtado)
Nutrimiento de las vocaciones en la Formación de la Fe Así como las plantas y los árboles requieren cuidado para florecer y dar fruto, las vocaciones dentro de la Iglesia también necesitan ser cultivadas para crecer. Los catequistas y maestros tienen un papel crucial en fomentar la vocación de los niños y jóvenes, comenzando desde las primeras etapas de su formación en la fe al iniciar conversaciones significativas. A través de este papel influyente, pueden apoyar y guiar su camino hacia el descubrimiento de su llamado. Juntos, consideremos maneras prácticas de hablar sobre las vacaciones con los niños y jóvenes bajo nuestro cuidado.

Líderes laicos son arquitectos de transformación (L. Mesina, VDMF)
Este taller equipará, empoderará y desbloqueará el potencial de los líderes laicos como activos "agentes de cambio" o "constructores de movimientos" que transforman a través de sus ministerios.   Cómo mirar a nuestros líderes laicos de manera diferente, como Jesús los mira. Son arquitectos del cambio. Este seminario presentará a Jesús como la Piedra Angular, la roca sólida sobre la cual se apoyan los líderes laicos. Él ve a los laicos no solo para 'ayudar' en Su iglesia, sino para ser quienes realmente construyen Su Reino en los hogares, el trabajo, la comunidad de fe y los vecindarios, con sus vidas y a través de sus ministerios."

Taller de catequesis: Metodologia y actividades.(V. Zeller)
Este taller ofrece un espacio formativo y vivencial en el que los catequistas profundizarán en formas efectivas de transmitir la fe de manera significativa. A través de dinámicas participativas, análisis de casos y ejemplos prácticos, se explorarán métodos que integran la experiencia personal, la Sagrada Escritura y la vida comunitaria. El taller busca no solo fortalecer los conocimientos, sino también inspirar una catequesis más activa, centrada en el encuentro con Cristo y adaptada a las realidades de los participantes. De este modo, los catequistas adquieren herramientas concretas para acompañar procesos de fe de manera más cercana, creativa y transformadora.

Revitalizar el las familias de tu parroquia es posible (E. Valdez)
Las crisis y necesidades familiares no se superan en aislamiento, sino en comunidad. A través de este taller, uniremos la fe católica con la terapia de pareja/ familiar para aprender a mirar a los matrimonios con compasión y sin juicio, a la vez poder apoyar a las familias de tu comunidad. Este taller de dará herramientas concretas para sembrar esperanza en tu grupo parroquial y ser un agente de sanación para el matrimonio que son el pilar de las familias.
